Beginning today, March 10, and through April 4, 2023, Beavercreek City Schools (BCS) will be accepting nominations for Outstanding Educator and Outstanding Support Staff of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year.
This year, Beavercreek City Schools will be recognizing six outstanding educators (three elementary and three secondary) and four outstanding classified support staff members from our district. Nominations can be submitted by anyone within the community or associated with the District.
Teachers, counselors, school nurses, and speech pathologists can be considered for the Outstanding Educator Award. These educators should inspire students and other staff members to be better and continuously go above and beyond their expected duties to provide our students with the best possible education and experience at BCS.
The Classified Support Staff Award has been established to recognize four support staff members who exemplify excellence. Outstanding classified support staff member classifications may include but are not limited to, building administrative assistants, custodial/grounds/maintenance, special needs assistants, student nutrition, transportation employees, teacher assistants, and others.
Nomination criteria and submission forms are available at https://www.gocreek.org/page/outstanding-awards. The District takes pride in these awards. Since its start in 1979, over 200 educators and support staff have been recognized with these honors.
