Beavercreek City Schools (BCS) is excited to announce the recommendation to hire Mr. Dale Wren as the Director of Student Services beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.
Mr. Wren's connection to Beavercreek City Schools spans more than three decades, beginning as a student and continuing through his educational career. After graduating from Beavercreek High School in 1990, he pursued his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University before completing his Education Degree in Multi-Handicapped Education at Kent State University in 1996.
His professional journey with Beavercreek City Schools began in 1996 as a Special Education Teacher at Beavercreek High School, a position he held for 17 years. During his time in the classroom, Mr. Wren took on numerous leadership roles, serving as a coach, athletics site manager, Middle School Athletic Coordinator, and Special Education Department Chair. In 2011, he earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton.
Mr. Wren transitioned to administration in 2013, serving as Assistant Principal at Beavercreek High School for two years before becoming Principal of Ankeney Middle School in 2015. In 2020, he returned to his alma mater as Principal of Beavercreek High School, where he has served for the past five years.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wren has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to education and the Beavercreek community. His extensive experience as both an educator and administrator, combined with his deep roots in our district, provides him with a unique perspective and understanding. We are confident that his collaborative leadership style and dedication to student success will serve our district well in this new role.

Referring to his new role, Mr. Wren said, “I have been a part of Beavercreek City Schools as a student, teacher, coach, and administrator. I am excited to serve the students and families of Beavercreek in this position.”
Superintendent Paul Otten will recommend that the Board approve Mr. Wren for the new position at the February Board of Education meeting.
