Meet Mary Herdman, a talented 3rd grader in Mrs. Carenza's class at Fairbrook Elementary! 🧡🖤
Mary has been competing with Quest Gymnastics since she was 6, and her hard work is paying off! At the 2023 and 2024 Ohio State Compulsory Meets, she placed 1st all-around—first in Level 2 (2023) and again in Level 3 (2024)! 🤸♀️🏆
This past weekend, Mary competed in Tennessee and earned her third consecutive all-around 1st place finish this season! With an impressive 9.7 on vault, she is now ranked 57th in the nation for Level 4 vault, and her Quest Gymnastics team is 38th on vault! 💪✨
With two more meets left before the Ohio Compulsory State Meet in March, we can't wait to see Mary continue to shine! Way to go, Mary! 🎉👏

🥫🏈 NHS "Soup-er Bowl" Food Drive a Success! 🏈🥫
During Super Bowl weekend, BHS National Honor Society held its annual "Soup-er Bowl" Food Drive, collecting over 200 bags and several boxes of nonperishable goods for Feed the Creek!
All 130 NHS members worked hard distributing flyers, collecting donations, and bringing food to BHS. Some even stayed after school to help load and unload supplies for the pantry, ensuring local families receive the support they need.

Our second-grade Trebein students are teaming up with artist Chris Rowland from the Aullwood Audubon Center to learn about the amazing animals that call Ohio's forests home! 🌳🦉🦌
Each student is contributing to a beautiful mural showcasing this natural habitat, which will soon be displayed in the hallway at Trebein. We can't wait to see their creativity come to life—it's amazing what our kids can create! 🎨👏

On Friday, February 14, representatives from Millat Industries in Kettering visited our robotics classes at Coy Middle School to share their expertise!
Our students have been hard at work designing prototype work cells for manufacturing Honda vehicle parts. Millat Industries helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world manufacturing, giving students a firsthand look at how their designs connect to industry practices.
