Students in ⚕️ Medical Detectives have been working on taking vital signs. 🩺 Nurses Ms. Kathleen Grimm and Ms. Latisha Newport visited the classes in Coy and Ankeney to share the vital signs they take in the clinic and the importance of HIPAA. Students then learned and practiced how to take blood pressure, pulse 💓, temperature, respiratory rate, and blood oxygen levels. Some of the vital signs they were able to take several ways! Amazing!

It's National Bus Safety Week! This week is dedicated to:
🚌Raising awareness about bus safety
🚌Educating the public, especially children, about safe bus practices
🚌Promoting safety measures among bus drivers, schools, and transportation providers
🚌 Reducing bus-related accidents and injuries
To help ensure the safety of our students, our School Resource Officers (SROs), along with Deputy Chrystal Bowers of the Greene County Sheriff's Office, participated in "ride-alongs" with several of our drivers. They were on the lookout for safety issues like illegal bus passing and speeding drivers.
Throughout the week, they will also be monitoring bus stops and school zones across the district to keep our students safe! Thank you to everyone for your commitment to student safety! 🚍 #NationalSchoolBusSafetyWeek #StudentSafety #BcreekSchools #OneDistrictOneMissionOneCreek
