The 4th grade got the privilege to go see the Wild Robot in theaters to wrap up our Wild Robot Novel study. We compared the book to the movie and took an in-depth look at how Roz the robot adapted to the environment around her to survive. Then we created our own "lucky duck" habitats and discussed the types of habitats that each animal had.

Kindergarten enjoyed a musical rendition of The Three Billy Goats Gruff, while 1st-grade experienced The Great Dinosaur Adventure. Through beautiful music, students learned about high and low sounds, the string family of instruments, and how music can tell a story.
Thank you to the DPO String Quartet for this memorable and educational experience! 🎵

It's National Bus Safety Week! This week is dedicated to:
🚌Raising awareness about bus safety
🚌Educating the public, especially children, about safe bus practices
🚌Promoting safety measures among bus drivers, schools, and transportation providers
🚌 Reducing bus-related accidents and injuries
To help ensure the safety of our students, our School Resource Officers (SROs), along with Deputy Chrystal Bowers of the Greene County Sheriff's Office, participated in "ride-alongs" with several of our drivers. They were on the lookout for safety issues like illegal bus passing and speeding drivers.
Throughout the week, they will also be monitoring bus stops and school zones across the district to keep our students safe! Thank you to everyone for your commitment to student safety! 🚍 #NationalSchoolBusSafetyWeek #StudentSafety #BcreekSchools #OneDistrictOneMissionOneCreek
