It's National Bus Safety Week! This week is dedicated to: ๐ŸšŒRaising awareness about bus safety ๐ŸšŒEducating the public, especially children, about safe bus practices ๐ŸšŒPromoting safety measures among bus drivers, schools, and transportation providers ๐ŸšŒ Reducing bus-related accidents and injuries To help ensure the safety of our students, our School Resource Officers (SROs), along with Deputy Chrystal Bowers of the Greene County Sheriff's Office, participated in "ride-alongs" with several of our drivers. They were on the lookout for safety issues like illegal bus passing and speeding drivers. Throughout the week, they will also be monitoring bus stops and school zones across the district to keep our students safe!
