🍞 A Sweet Tradition Continues! 🍞
Many years ago, the grandmother of a Beavercreek Varsity Football player began making banana bread to bring the team good luck on game days. After her grandson graduated, the tradition was passed down, and this season, Mrs. Haacke's class at BHS has taken on the baking!
Each week, the staff in Mrs. Haacke's room bakes 16 loaves of banana bread, with the students helping to package and label them. Fifteen loaves go to the team!
As a thank you for their hard work, the team honored Mrs. Haacke's class with Impact Player shirts. This tradition has been a fun and meaningful way for the class to be involved and support the team.

🩺 BHS Biomedical Science Students Visit Soin Medical Center 🩺
Our Biomedical Science students had an incredible experience touring the emergency department and sterile processing laboratory at Soin Medical Center! They also heard from Sinclair Community College and Kettering Health Network representatives about exciting healthcare career opportunities.
It was a fantastic day of hands-on learning and exploring future careers in healthcare with Kettering Health Network! 👏🏼

This past Friday was Jersey Day at Beavercreek High School, and Mrs. Bailey was rocking her Creek jersey with pride!
Meanwhile, Mr. Wren, Mr. Reynolds, and Mr. Scott were slightly confused with their orange and black—they showed up repping the Cincinnati Bengals instead!

🏆 Creek XC Brings Home the Wingfoot Cup! 🏆
Our Top 18 varsity runners competed at the Wingfoot XC Classic in Cartersville, Georgia, and we are thrilled to announce that Creek won, bringing the Wingfoot Cup back to Ohio! 🧡🖤 The cup is awarded to the team with the best-combined score between men and women — After a tie, Creek’s sixth runners sealed the win with impressive scores. True teamwork!
We also had four athletes in the JV Championship races. They placed 1st and 2nd for the men and 7th and 8th for women overall. 🎉 The other 14 athletes competed in the Championship races, with Creek Men placing 2nd and Creek Women placing 5th. 🎉
To top off this amazing event, our runners were excited to meet Nico Young (2024 Olympian, NCAA record holder, and Adidas professional athlete), who presented their awards! 👏🏼

We are thrilled to share that Beavercreek High School student Camryn Hall recently participated in the Air Camp Girls in STEM Aviation/Aeronautics Event! ✈️ This event featured rigorous and immersive STEM career exploration activities, focusing on aviation and aeronautics career fields. The camp took place on September 14, 2024, at the Greene County Airport in Xenia, Ohio.
Each student received an Air Camp 'Wings' Lapel Pin, and Camryn even logged her time in the air in an FAA-certified logbook! This logbook can be used toward a future private pilot license if she chooses. Congratulations, Camryn! 🎉✈️

🔥 Hands-On Fire Safety Training! 🔥
Mrs. Hines' GCCC/BHS CBI Program students had an exciting and educational experience participating in fire extinguisher training with the Beavercreek Fire Department! They even had the chance to use an extinguisher to put out a small simulated fire. 🚒
A huge thank you to Fire Marshal Randy Grogean and Fire Prevention Specialist Randy Carroll for assisting with this valuable learning opportunity!

🌟 #CreekFactFriday 🌟Each year, BCS Central Office hosts a special 9/11 Luncheon to honor our Beavercreek First Responders. This tradition began 23 years ago as a classroom project led by Board President Jo Ann Rigano, and it continues to be meaningful today!
Yesterday, our Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC Cadets had the honor of participating in the City of Beavercreek’s 9/11 Ceremony, remembering the lives lost and the sacrifices made on September 11, 2001. It was a powerful moment to reflect on the tragedy that shook our nation and to celebrate the resilience and strength of the human spirit that emerged in its aftermath.

Students in the Principles of Biomedical Science class were tasked with investigating a mysterious incident that occurred during class. Officer Unroe initially secured the scene before handing it off to the students to analyze and determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the event. 🕵️♀️🔍
This hands-on experience is a thrilling way for students to dive into real-world biomedical science!
