Join us for our November Board of Education meeting this week!

November is Native American Heritage Month. This year students were treated to a wonderful performance of a Native American song by our Coy Choir and then learned about Native American Heritage from members of our own community. Students learned about Native American families today, learned a little Native American history, were able to see different kinds of moccasins and learned how unique each tribe can be. Students were able to learn a few dance moves and were amazed by the Hoop Dance Mrs. Secody shared with us. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Secody for sharing your heritage with our students!

WOW!! Our students and community are amazing! Ms. Hogue's classes collected enough food and gift cards to provide a Thanksgiving meal to 11 local families through Feed the Creek. If you are looking to help others this holiday season or are in need of help, reach out to Feed the Creek. Check out what these classes have achieved!

Fun and Excitement for all as Ms. Hogue's Social Studies classes practiced map skills by seeing who could solve map skills mystery challenges first escape from the Escape Room Challenge. Check out our Brilliant Escapees!

In Mr. Stevenson's 7th grade robotics, students learn how to calculate gear ratios between different size gears. Students were given a ratio and had to work backward to determine which size gears created that specific ratio. They then built a model to demonstrate the change in speed and torque for each specific ratio. Students were then given specific engineering problems that required increased speed or torque and had to build a model that accurately reflected the needed change. #BcreekSchools #BCSRobotics
